Such a pitiful contradiction, Homo et natura, whose only editor is Portillo, talks about himself in third person, talks about the Yukpa plan as if it's a failure, who has decided no to tell that the government implemented the plan to destroy the Yukpa resistance in the area, and now he ask for poorly done houses and trucks for those Yukpa who obey such a plan.
The plan consist in ending the resistance and making sure anyone protesting the abuses done by the external oppressive forces of this so called environment of 'progress' and destruction of our natural and ecological system of delicate mountains and cultural sustainability of the original people of America, cant rise their voices in a popular nor democratic way, by taking out all resistance leaders. Similar as it happened in the process of colonization, the methods are being done systematically, and the victims of this kind of plans are those who live in the mountains, and are marginalized by the current society, to a point of jokes that go no far from their bellies, the bellies of those common civilians who are also struggling to live the survival of this fiercer advancements of how to depend on crude oil and the territory.
This colonization has taken the greener one, dividing it by the sectors, controlling and dictating their own limits and giving not much to their original owners because, as we all know, the law and constitution was written when a conquered land is formed, and so on, but those who were conquered, the Yukpas, the Wayuu, have no control over their lands anymore, nor the tools of society, and in this case, in Venezuela, with all its political and economical problems, with no support from no one, Yukpas, Wayuus, are being alienated even worst than the opposition, and are also being killed with impunity and zero international knowledge of this wrongdoing. As what happened to one of the resistance leaders called Sabino, killed by hit man, killed by the ones who benefit from death and discord, killed because he wanted autonomy over his people's land and resources, killed by the players who are in control over our very constitution, our very methods of living.
In Summary, the plan works as a escape goat in order change the perception that Machiques is a rogue land, an orphan without any concrete plan of government, and that it needs the assistance of more government, something taken from one of Chavez rhetoric when he said something about 'ranchers and natives', immediately sending one of his most aggressive operators to Perija: Tareck El Aisami, who implemented the sub-plan yukpa into the frame of a military control plan Perija, still in force. In that moment we asked Chavez, aja, very good, better to protect and control our assets but what about your people? and what about the transnationals of China, Russia, and the North Americans? of course, no one answer us, so we had no choice but to protest and rise our concerns instead of conforming to their dictates.
No one will hear the complains of our struggle in the speeches of Portillo, the one who represents the Homo et natura organization, made by the government, and then i ask myself, how could one work against mining when one is consulting the mining ministry?
This way of working 'in favor' of the Yukpa resistance seems to be made with the poorest of its conscience and lack of solidarity within the city officials, to the Yukpa people and the Yukpa resistance, which is made to identify their movements with the current government, whose who the orders come from the supreme leader in Caracas.
As it has been the case, with the theory of 'involution' post Chavez, this actors directed a kind of western movie where the cowboys are the ones defending the city from the Indians, that ways the perceptions of the city and its people would retaliate against the ones who are claiming autonomy within their lands. And there are plenty of actors who are receiving lots of power, support and moneys from this kind of oppression and hybrid lawless with authoritarianism, and in the long run the ones suffering are not only gonna be the Yukpas nor the Wayuu, but all as we are experiencing it, everyone will suffer the machinery of corruption and colonialism.

One of the infinite solutions could be to make an autonomous and protected land, where there is the possibility of gaining from the natural resources and create a sustainable community for our grandfathers and grandmothers, the original culture of our upbringings.
That can be done first by protecting their rights, their autonomy and their desires, as each Tribe, each as its own and unique methodology as its way of dealing with their issues and independent constitution.
We as progressive and sustainable participants of this changing world, are in the position to nurture our societies, by organizing it, managing into a way that will give us more autonomy from the external pressures of this dependent resource needed in the constructions and movement of our materials, but first the foundation is essential, a sustainable foundation that protects our environment instead of using it to change it, but to nurture our environment and implement sustainable solution within the progress of this futuristic advances of technology that has given us the tools to emancipate us, as cities or societies from the by-products that will eventually contaminate our life's, as they are now, in their epitome of its toxicity and dangers that are affecting us, our seas, rivers, land and our only platform we have in order to debate, our foundation called earth, where societies are built, where ideas can flow, where minds can expand by a free and open channels of communication and support.
